Dr. Poon graduated with an M.B.B.S. from the National University of Singapore and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the United Kingdom. Following advanced specialist training, she was accredited as a Specialist in Psychiatry by the Ministry of Health, Singapore. She also holds a Master of Science in Sleep Medicine from the University of Oxford.
She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and remains involved in medical education, clinical teaching and peer training.
In addition to general psychiatry, Dr. Poon has special interests in neuropsychiatry, sleep medicine, psychosomatic medicine, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum conditions and complex neurodevelopmental presentations. She has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and patients whose difficulties cut across conventional diagnostic categories, including those who may have felt misunderstood, under-recognised or poorly served by standard psychiatric frameworks.

Prof. Lee graduated with M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University, USA. His Ph.D. dissertation was on molecular neurobiology of human epilepsy. He completed residency training at Yale and is U.S. Board Certified. He also obtained sub-specialty certification in Behavioural Neurology. and Neuropsychiatry. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, and of Edinburgh.
He is currently Professor of Neuroscience, Duke-NUS Medical School. He is a renown researcher on Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technological approaches for attention and memory enhancement and sleep disorders. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles and holds 6 patents for his innovative work.
In Singapore, he is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, and accredited as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Sleep Medicine Physician.
